Internships are much valued within the Metalegal work-sphere, and interns get to learn on-the-job skills (much different from the traditional not-so-important jobs that are assigned to interns generally), interpretation of laws, soft-skills, and intensive legal research.

Metalegal Advocates is looking forward to engaging and retaining Associates (Advocate or Chartered Accountant) for our practice in economic offences, tax disputes, and corporate and commercial laws.
Qualification
The candidate should be a qualified advocate (LLB) or chartered accountant (CA), desirably having a PQE of 1-2 years, with a passion for learning and practicing a variety of laws, and good communication skills.
Engagement profile
The engagement would primarily involve a mix of litigation and advisory, and would include Litigation (including drafting pleadings, replies, appeals, petitions etc. before various forums), handling investigations involving multiple investigative agencies, advising the clients on various corporate and commercial laws, technology laws, regulatory laws, handholding the clients in various dispute resolution processes, researching and writing articles/white papers, etc. There would be opportunities to represent the clients before various forums from time to time and based on experience in the case as well as law.

The fees would be as per professional standards.
